Cabo Ledo
The Atlantic sands of Cabo Ledo beach are as popular with endangered loggerhead turtles as they are with holidaying Angolans. Female turtles haul themselves ashore to lay their eggs from June, with hatchlings starting to appear two months later. Their progress is monitored by local group Projecto Kitabanga.
